Tapping
Clinical EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique), commonly known as Tapping, is a research-supported technique that acts as a "reset button" for your nervous system.
By gently tapping on specific meridian points on the face and body while focusing on a difficult emotion, a stressful memory, or a physical symptom, you send calming signals to your brain. This tells your body it is safe to turn off the physical stress response, shifting you out of “fight-or-flight” and into “rest-and-repair,” so your emotions can gently release.
While Tapping is an effective self-help resource, it is recommended to work with a Certified Clinical EFT Practitioner when navigating anything related to trauma.
A practitioner provides expert guidance and additional safety to prevent the risk of retraumatization.
“Genevieve was beautifully attuned to me and held a welcoming space of safety and acceptance. As we tapped together, I very quickly felt at ease and had some important insights and shifts in my emotions and beliefs. I love how she took the time to anchor those shifts in, almost like upgrading my operating system” - L.H.
