EFT
Emotional Freedom Technique
The Emotional Freedom Technique is commonly referred to as EFT or Tapping.
This technique involves tapping on specific acupuncture points while focusing on distressing emotions and memories.
By bringing to mind the distress, we activate the part of the brain holding onto that energy. As we tap on the acupuncture points, we send calming signals to the mind and body. This process allows the energy to move and the distress to be released.
This technique is designed to acknowledge and release distress through a gentle process that respects what feels safe to us and is not retraumatizing.
EFT can be a self-help resource, but it is recommended to work with a certified practitioner to provide extra support and safety when working with distress related to traumatic events.
Tarot
The Tarot is a deck of 78 cards filled with imagery and symbolism.
When working with the cards, we ask questions and connect with our intuition to reveal the answers we already have deep within ourselves.
The process of reading Tarot creates an opportunity for us to gain more information about ourselves and our experiences. With this information, we are empowered to make choices and take actions that are more closely aligned with our goals and the future we desire for ourselves.
At times, the Tarot has been associated with fortune-telling, but our futures are not predetermined. We have free will and the ability to make changes in the present that will alter the trajectory of our future.

The Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) and Tarot can be practiced together to help us achieve our goals and find moments of serenity in our lives.
The Tarot reveals information about ourselves, our experiences, and the actions we can take. However, even with this clear information, we often hold patterns that restrict our ability to accept ourselves or do what is necessary to reach our desired outcomes.
By pairing EFT with those insights, we can address and release our distress, develop new patterns that help us take action with greater ease, and establish a stronger sense of inner strength and stability.
